What does the work experience involve?

Eligibility & Schedule:

In order to gain a place on this work experience programme you must meet the following criteria:

  • You must be a student at school or college who is in Year 10, 11, 12 or 13. 
  • You must have attended a non-selective state school up to 16 years old
  • You must have achieved or are predicted to attain a Level 4 or C and above in Maths and English GCSE. If studying A-levels (or equivalents) you must have also achieved or be on track to achieve at least 76 UCAS points (equivalent to 3 subjects at Grade D).


  • You must also meet one of the three following conditions:
  • Your parents/guardians did not attend university
  • You are/have been eligible for free school meals
  • You are a member or alumni of IntoUniversity

This work experience programme will take place during the following dates: 26th-30th October


The deadline for applications is Friday 9th October. Applicants will find out if they have a place on the programme by Thursday 15th October.

What if I'm home schooled?

You are still welcome to apply if you are home schooled. You're able to note this on your application.

How do you make it safe?

During all live parts of the work experience programme there will be a DBS cleared member of staff on the webinar, students cannot be seen and sessions are recorded.

What technology will I need?

You will need access to a computer for 10 hours over the week that the programme takes place.

Access to Property

JLL are a world leader in real estate services, powered by an entrepreneurial spirit. They work with the most ambitious clients and people in the world. They buy, build, occupy and invest in a variety of real estate assets including industrial, commercial, retail, residential and alternatives.

Over the course of one week this virtual work experience opportunity will give you a complete insight into the world of property. You will take part in live workshops with different JLL teams, you'll learn about key areas from property development to commercial valuation. You will complete work assignments and receive feedback on your work.

This work experience opportunity is perfect for any student who would like to learn more about what a career in property can offer.
