The virtual work experience programme involves 10 hours of activity which can be completed over a 2 week period.
You'll meet NHS professionals in live workshops where you'll be able to ask them questions.
You'll complete activities and work assignments to develop an understanding of what a career in the NHS can mean.

You are still welcome to apply if you are home schooled. You're able to note this on your application.
You will need access to a computer for 10 hours over the 2 weeks that the programme takes place.
If you are accepted on to the programme you will be sent a full schedule. If you are unable to attend any of the live talks recordings will be available on-demand.
Our range of programmes are only open to applications from students that live within the listed local authorities. If you live outside of the authorities that we currently have programmes with then don't worry, we have more virtual work experience opportunities that you will be able to apply for.

The eligibility criteria for all of our programmes varies but most of our NHS Virtual Work Experience Programmes are open to applications from students in Year 10, 11, 12 or 13. Please check the eligibility criteria on individual programmes.
